Feature
Sample inspection in hours, not days — audit-ready, signed, trilingual.
Your automotive and medical orders hang on the initial sample inspection report — and in most shops it's an Excel-Word patchwork. InjectOS turns it into a process: fully to VDA Volume 2 and PPAP Level 3, from the measurement table to customer approval.
Measurements in, Cpk out.
Up to five readings per characteristic — the system computes mean and Cpk. It pulls the tolerance itself from the DIN 16742 tolerance groups by nominal size. A non-conforming characteristic shows as a traffic light, not a footnote.
A balloon plan that thinks along.
Upload the drawing, place balloons — each is linked to its measurement row. Click balloon 7 and row 7 opens. No manual matching, no shifted numbers.
Signatures without a printer.
Four digital signatures — operator, quality officer, QM, customer — right in the system. The status chain runs from trial to customer release, and the article only goes to series once released. That's not convenience, that's process assurance.
Trilingual by default.
ISIR and trial reports as PDF in German, English and Chinese — for the round trip with the mold maker in Shenzhen.
Trials & gauges included.
Over 50 machine parameters per trial report, re-versioned on every change. Plus gauge management with calibration intervals — from caliper to CMM.
Traceability down to the batch.
From the resin lot through the order to the delivery note — forward and backward, in seconds. When the complaint comes, you don't search, you click.
Q&A
Frequently asked questions
Is this really VDA Volume 2?
Yes — 10 sections, measurement table, function and appearance checks, signatures; PPAP Level 3 is covered.
Can existing reports be migrated?
Historical PDFs attach to the article as documents; new reports are created in the system.
Do we still need a CAQ system?
For sample inspection, trials, gauges and traceability, no. SPC in series is on the roadmap.
